Mr. Mukand Lal Khullar – Mr. M.L. Khullar founded the Khullar Expeller Company in 1948, when he was 34. A true product of new Industrial Revolution, he started manufacturing the Oil Expeller for obtaining oil & fats. His perception regarding the oil industry improved the Oil Expeller from old conventional style. In 1950, Mr. M.L Khullar stated a unit for manufacturing Oil Expeller & related machinery in Industrial Area, Ludhiana (Punjab). His dynamism made Khullar Expeller Company global by 1954. Khullar Expeller Company exported Oil Expeller to Uganda, Kenya, Sudan, South Africa, Tanzania, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Ghana and many more countries in 50’s. In 1961 he stated another unit in Chandigarh. In 1970, with the vision of Mr. M.L. Khullar, the company was further taken by his son Mr. Vinay Khullar
Mr. Vinay Khullar - Under their direction the company expanded offerings to vegetable oil mills with improved mechanical screw press (Oil Expeller) with reduction gear box and other products. They focused on the automation of the Oil Expeller industry with the Bucket Elevator, Chain & Screw Conveyors, and Electric control panels for more efficiency. With this they expanded the area of business.
