Elevator Usage in Oil Mills

The FEEDING ELEVATORS

Feeding the raw material (any seed, nut or bean) into to Oil Expeller for the extraction of oil. The VARUNA elevators are part of every Oil Mill. Except to the small production Oil Mill Plant with crushing capacity of less than 100 KG per hour, all the Oil Mills use the elevator for lifting of the seed into the extracting machine. As manual feeding is a very time consuming job. The VARUAN elevator helps in speeding up the process and saving the manual labor cost due to their atomization.

The VARUNA feeding elevators are also now being used for storing of the seeds in multiple overhead bins. By storing the seed in overhead bins save the electricity as bins can be filled in less time. Later the overhead bins can feed the machine for hours according to the storage capacity. The overhead bins can feed to multiple Oil Expeller with special arrangement. The overhead bins are best suitable for single press seeds and seeds which do not require heating.

The CAKE ELEVATORS

The cake elevators are essential for almost all types of oil mill plants. In a very small scale capacity mill, the cake elevators are not required as the machine height is not very high. But for all big capacity oil mills, the cake handling is done with the help of cake elevators.

The full pressing system uses multiple press machines. The output of first press will become the input for the second press. Hence the oilcake is kept thicker. This oilcake is transferred to another machine with the help of the cake elevator to make the oilcake thinner. The final discharge cake has less oil in it.

The process of collecting the oil cakes and putting them in the storage area and for other purposes can turn out to be very time consuming if the volume is more. To make this work of collecting and transporting of discharge cakes easier, the VARUNA Cake Elevators are used today everywhere.
